2013 Book List

These are the books I’d like to read this year.  I’ve never made a specific list like this before.  This list is dependent on being able to inter-library loan most of these, my changing moods, and varying interests as the year progresses.  Nonetheless, this is a good guide for me instead of just choosing books willy-nilly like I normally do.  And, maybe this year I will actually remember a few titles of books I’ve actually read this way.  Grand total? 93

Ooh, I want to hear more about “The Practice of Prophetic Imagination!”

  2. Caris Adel January 2, 2013 at 4:13 pm

Me too, haha! I just realized there is one that comes before it called The Prophetic Imagination, so I just requested that from the library, and should be able to start reading it in a couple of weeks. I’m sure I’ll post something about that one!

I love your list! C.S. Lewis’s Til We Have Faces is one of my favorites!

I keep hearing this from so many people.

The Brothers K has been on my shelf for years, as has Don Quixote. Loved A Passage to India, but not my favorite Forester (that’s probably Where Angels Fear to Tread).

I’ve only read one Margaret Atwood but have been meaning to get to The Handmaid’s Tale for years.

Life is rich with a long reading list!
