Before we moved, I had an amazing bookshelf my husband built for me, complete with a counter, cupboards, corkboard inspiration board and everything. But alas, it stayed with the house. And my computer is broken so I can’t dig out a picture of it. So now, I’m back to putting books on every available normal shelf. This is a fun link-up with Modern Mrs. Darcy, checking out each other’s bookshelves. (Clicking on the pictures makes them larger so you can read the titles better.) Here are some of mine:
These two are my favorite shelves. It’s my christian/progressive/memoir/inspiration/writing/friend books.
These are my Bibles/devotionals. My favorite bibles are the Archaeological Study Bible and the Orthodox Bible.
This is my ‘someday I really need to read these’ shelves, and also partly our high-school curriculum.
This is one of my school bookshelves. What I’d really like to draw your attention to are all the colored stickers at the bottom of the books – color-coordinated by historical era. Lots of work right there. There are 2 or 3 similar shelves scattered across the house.
Love your bookshelves Caris – especially the 1st pic! (We have so many similar favorites! 🙂 I just finished Soil & Sacrament, which I absolutely loved. I have Pastrx on my Christmas wish list. 🙂
“color coordinated by historical era”? Oh my my. I didn’t see that coming!
Caris, your shelves are nerdishly BEAUTIFUL and I would love to peruse them in person one day. And carry a whole bunch home with me to borrow. 🙂
Thanks for sharing them with us!
Loving your bookshelves!!! I see my very favorite book – To Kill a Mockingbird! I see several new titles that I need to add to my GoodReads list! 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing them with us!
I just found the linkup so I stalking everyone! I love that you color coordinated them! I try to put mine together but they keep getting mixed up.
